How this site was made.
A short note on the design system, accessibility standards, and AI-assisted workflow behind this portfolio — the same principles I bring to the products I design.
Built as a design system.
Every color, type size, and spacing value on the site is defined once as a design token and reused everywhere — the same governance I apply to enterprise design systems. The palette is deliberately small: a warm white canvas, aqua-teal as the brand voice, and coral-pink accents reserved for emphasis.
Typography pairs a quiet sans-serif for reading with a serif italic reserved for moments of emphasis — an echo of the hero line, human by design, scaled with intent. Decorative color and accessible color are kept separate: the logo pink stays pure, while text and interactive states use a darker pink that passes contrast.
A requirement, not a feature.
The whole site was audited against WCAG 2.2 AA and Revised Section 508. Every interactive element works by keyboard, pages use proper landmarks with a skip link, animations honor reduced-motion preferences, and the testimonial carousel, tabs, and chat assistant are built on accessible primitives with labeled controls and live regions.
Contrast decisions shaped the brand itself — the aqua was tuned as light as it could be while still passing, and hover states keep readable text on readable fills everywhere.
Human-directed, AI-accelerated.
This portfolio was built through an AI-assisted workflow: I set the strategy, content, design direction, and accessibility bar — and AI accelerated the implementation, from iterating on layout and copy to running the compliance audit. It is a working example of how I believe modern product teams should operate: human judgment leading, AI amplifying.
The assistant in the corner is part of that story — a grounded AI interface that answers only from the content of this portfolio, so what it says stays accurate.
Small stack, fast pages.
Built with React and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, and served with server-rendered pages so case studies load fast and share well. Case studies live at their own URLs with their own metadata, and a sitemap keeps everything discoverable. Respecting your privacy, the site uses light, standard analytics only — no ads, no tracking pixels.
